Vote for Zahra Nemati as IPC Athlete of the Month
Zahra Nemati collected a quota space for her country for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games after winning the recurve women’s open competition at the Bangkok 2015 Asian Para Championships in Thailand.
Iran's best recurve athlete also qualified an Olympic spot for Iran at the able-bodied Asian Championships preceding the event.
The public has until Wednesday 9 December 2015 to vote for their Allianz Athlete of the Month for November 2015.
Nemati is the second para archer to be nominated for the Athlete of the Month in 2015 after David Drahoninsky from the Czech Republic in September.
Back in 2011, Great Britain's Danielle Brown won the public vote to become the IPC Athlete of the Month for July, claiming the title for the prestigioius award for the first time after several nominations, with 29% of the vote.
The nominations for the Allianz Athlete of the Month are compiled from submissions by National Paralympic Committees and International Federations.
