Vacancy: Oceania development agent at World Archery

World Archery has a vacancy in its development and education department for a full-time contractor to act as a development agent in Oceania. The role is key in strengthening national federations and guiding the sport’s growth in the region.

The successful candidate will be a sports professional and archery expert, speak English, and have project management and budgeting experience. He or she will have a minimum level 1 coaching qualification in archery.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Develop the governance and management, archer instruction and coaching, officiating, equipment provision and funding levels of emerging national federations in Oceania
  • Strengthen the position of developed national federations within the region and subsequently internationally
  • Assist member associations in adopting strategic development plans

The role is remote-working, ideal for an individual situated in Oceania, and requires someone who is flexible on working hours and has a willingness to travel. Salary is negotiable and in-line with other international federations.
