Vacancy: African Development Agent at World Archery
World Archery has a job vacancy in its development and education team. The vacancy is for the contractor role of Development Agent in Africa, and is orientated towards developing the sport’s presence and popularity in the African continent.
He or she will be a sports professional, speak English, French and Arabic, and have experience in administration or management of a sports organisation. The successful applicant will have a minimum Level 2 Coach qualification in archery.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Promotion of youth participation in archery across Africa
- Develop good governance practices in member federations
- Provide technical assistance to member federations
- Support other development and education department activities
The role is remote-working, ideal for an individual situated in Africa, and includes extensive travel across the continent. Salary is negotiable and in-line with other international federations, and the role requires someone with flexibility.
