Archery Australia vacancy: High Performance Manager
Archery Australia is looking for a High Performance Manager with sound knowledge of sports management and high performance athlete development. The role is responsible for managing the federation’s High Performance Programme and implementing the High Performance Plan for a four-year term in line with the Olympic cycle.
Based at the High Performance Office in Brisbane, the successful candidate is expected to attend regular meetings at the Sydney Office, work interstate and travel overseas as required.
The position is required to work closely with the national coach and to have an effective working relationship with the High Performance Committee, and other related committees, as well as with athletes and other coaches.
Applicants must have knowledge of sports management, high performance athlete development and support needs, sound oral presentation skills, and be able to work in a team environment. Experience in coaching, developing training programmes and scheduling would be an asset.
The closing date is Sunday 1 January 2017. Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Australia.
