Ki Sik LEE’s “Total Archery” translated into French Lausanne – 10 February 2009  The bestseller “Total Archery” by Korean legend Ki Sik LEE published in English in 2005 and in Spanish in 2008 is now available in French.   Korean coach Ki Sik LEE is a legend amongst coaches, he who has one of the most amazing coaching records in history: from 1984 to 2000 he led five teams to the Olympic Games and saw his athletes win a gold medal every time. With Ki Sik LEE as their head coach from 1981 to 1997 the Korean team won a total of eight gold medals at four Olympics (1984, 88, 92 and 96). Lee then moved to Australia, and it is under his guidance that Aussie Simon FAIRWEATHER became men’s individual Olympic champion in 2000. Lee played a hand in nine of the 18 Olympic gold medals attributed between 1984 and 2000! In Athens 2004 his young protégé Tim CUDDIHY added another medal to LEE’s series with a bronze medal in the men’s individual event.   In 2005, Ki Sik LEE decided to put pen to paper to share his coaching knowledge: “Total Archery” is a book with insights into why Korea has so dominated the international archery scene for so many years. This book was published by SAMICK SPORTS CO., LTD (www.samicksports.com).   LEE’s book has been available in Spanish since last year and has also been translated into French thanks to the collaboration of National French Coach Marc DELLENBACH and his team. The French version is distributed by JVD (importer for Samick Europe) and will shortly be available on the French Archery Federation’s E-shop. Total Archery French Cover   FITA Communication
