Dohyun Lee accepts award at congress in 2021.

The Korean archery association has named Dohyun Lee, also known as Jerry, as its new secretary general.

He takes over from Choi Seungsil.

Dohyun has also been made deputy secretary general of World Archery Asia, which has its offices based at the Korean federation. The president of both organisations is Chung Euisun.

Formerly general manager for the Hyundai MOBIS women’s archery team (and Hyundai MOBIS Phoebus professional basketball club), Dohyun has been with the Korean archery federation and World Archery Asia since 2019.

He previously held the roles of planning director and senior director within the organisations.

Korea is archery’s leading competitive nation.

The country will host the second stage of this year’s Hyundai Archery World Cup and the world championships in 2025, both in the city of Gwangju.
