Danish archery federation launches team uniform design competition
The Danish archery federation has launched a competition to design the uniform its archers will wear when competing at international events later this season.
Budding designers are invited to submit their ideas by 7 February 2021.
The only rules are that the logos of the federation and Danish Sports Confederation must be included on a full front-and-back design of the t-shirt. All shirts used at international events must also display the name and country of the archer.
The winner will receive a copy of the uniform when it is printed.
Danish archers have typically worn a simple red kit although recent versions of the shirt have integrated the white cross from the national flag.
Denmark’s Maja Jager, the 2013 World Archery Champion who was the first archer named to a team for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, recently featured in an episode of World Archery’s Behind the Bow interview series.
Compounders Tanja Jensen (10) and Stephan Hansen (13) are the Danish archers with the highest positions in the current world rankings.
