Turkey cancels Kahraman Bagatir Spring Arrows world ranking tournament

The Kahraman Bagatir Spring Arrows world ranking tournament, scheduled to be held in Antalya on 1-5 April, has been cancelled.

Turkey has banned all international events until 30 April 2020. According to the government, it is a preventative measure against the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak. The country reported its first confirmed case yesterday.

The training camp due to be held immediately preceding the world ranking event has also been cancelled.

Antalya is also hosting the European Archery Championships and second stage of the Hyundai Archery World Cup in 2020, both in May.
