COVID-19 notification: Local judge enters isolation, competition unaffected

One person, working as a member of the local team of technical officials, has entered isolation following a positive result to a PCR test for COVID-19 at the first stage of the 2021 Hyundai Archery World Cup in Guatemala City.

All technical officials and any persons deemed to have come into close contact with the individual have since been tested.

No further positive tests were recorded.

According to the protocol in place for the event, the person who received a positive test result will enter isolation for further testing, while those identified by contact tracing will remain under observation.

The event will continue as scheduled.
