23 November 2007 - Interview of Dola BANERJEE (IND)

Interview of Dola BANERJEE (IND) Dubai – 23 November 2007  How does it feel to be here? The place is very beautiful, and I am so excited to shoot on the water.   How did you prepare since Dover in August? Training as usual, meaning 7-8 hours a day.   What are your expectations? I don’t think about the result, I’ll just shoot my best.   What do you think of the format? It is not a problem for me.   What do you think of the World Cup in general? It is very good for archery, as it is not a popular game it gives more interest to the people and money prizes brings more public.   What do you plan for next year? I will prepare for the Olympic Games. Next month there are team selections and I will also be participating in next year’s World Cup.   What do you do for a living? For now, I am only playing archery. When I am not shooting, I work a little bit. But for now I am dedicated to archery and the government helps me funding the boarding, lodging, etc.   Do you have any lucky charm? No, I don’t have any. I just have faith.   Thank you and good luck, then!   Chantal Steiner FITA Communication
