Initial documents for 2025 World Archery Congress issued
The official invitation and initial set of documents for the forthcoming World Archery Congress, to be held on 2-3 September 2025 in Gwangju, Korea, are now available. They have been shared with members and officials in preparation for the event.
These documents include forms for motions, proposals and amendments. The deadline for proposing motions for rule changes is 5 April 2025. Motions will undergo a round of amendments in May, with a submission deadline of 4 June.
Term limits will be enforced for the second consecutive time, meaning that eight of the 27 outgoing officers will be ineligible to run for re-election to the same position.
All election-related details are outlined in the electoral procedure, while the requirements for candidates can be found in the role descriptions document. Nominations for election positions will remain open until 4 June.
Reports from the secretary general and committee chairs, financial statements, lists of election candidates, and a comprehensive list of motions with proposed amendments will be published on 4 July.
