World Archery president unanimously re-elected to ASOIF council
World Archery president Prof Dr Ugur Erdener was unanimously re-elected to serve on the council of the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations, known as ASOIF, for a third time and a second full term during the organisation’s general assembly, which was held remotely.
He has served on the body since 2014 and was made the association’s vice president in 2017.
ASOIF represents international sports federations, like World Archery, within the Olympic movement.
Prof Dr Erdener has been World Archery’s president since 2005. He is also a member of the International Olympic Committee, president of the Turkish Olympic Committee and a member of the World Anti-Doping Agency’s executive committee.
