The Archery Show: video magazine returns for outdoor season in 2021
World Archery’s monthly 13-minute magazine programme has returned for its third year and will run for the duration of the upcoming outdoor season.
Initially launched as a live podcast at international events, the series was reformatted to focus on feature content during the COVID-19 pandemic. It returns in this configuration and episodes will be released monthly from April to September 2021. Additional bonus episodes are planned around the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Each programme will be available to view on World Archery’s YouTube channel and Facebook page, and distributed to a limited number of broadcasters and via the Asian Broadcasting Union’s sports exchange platform.
The first episode of this season’s Archery Show is now online. It includes the following.
- An update on the Olympic qualification situation, three months out from Tokyo 2020, following the year-long competition hiatus.
- A look at how the Sud de France – Nimes Archery Tournament adjusted to heath restrictions during the indoor season.
- An excerpt from an upcoming interview with Olympic gold medallist Mauro Nespoli of Italy.
Future episodes of the Archery Show will be published during the second week of each month.
