World-class coaching seminar going virtual in Autumn 2020
World Archery’s four-yearly seminar for elite coaches is heading online in 2020.
Two days of lectures and discussions on subjects including technique, equipment and the use of technology in a high-performance programme will run on Sunday 25 October and Wednesday 25 November 2020.
This year’s seminar is completely free and registration will only be available through national archery federations.
(Further details on registering participants will be sent directly to each federation.)
All elite-level coaches, particularly those involved in national team preparation, performance pathways or identifying and developing elite talent, are encouraged to participate.
The roster of expert guest speakers includes Robert Turner, Marcel van Apeldoorn, George Tekmitchov and Filippo Clini.
Each day of the seminar will include a morning (starting 9h00 CET/CEST) and an afternoon (starting 13h00 CET/CEST) session, with a break for lunch, and conclude with a live and interactive panel discussion.
A provisional schedule is now available. Confirmed timings and a link to the virtual seminar will be sent to registered participants in the week prior to each date.
Good internet connection will be required to take part.
