Austria to host two-part European coach trainer course
Salzburg in Austria will host a coach trainer course open to all European archery federations from 18-28 June 2018 as part of a two-year education programme to increase the pool of people qualified to teach coaching; the programme is supported by Olympic Solidarity and World Archery Europe.
The first part of the initiative, planned for 2018, is to train people to teach basic archery coaches, with a follow-up in 2019 to teach intermediate archery coaches.
A maximum of one coach trainer candidate per member association, registered by federation, can be registered to the programme, with applicants required to commit to training coaches in their country and abroad.
The deadline for registration via World Archery Europe is 30 May 2018 on a first-come first-served basis. Candidatures will be examined and evaluated before acceptance of eligibility.
