Sri Lanka accepting applications for national coach position
The Sri Lanka Archery Association is looking for a foreign coach to prepare its national team for six months in 2018 looking towards the upcoming Asian Games, where the country has secured two male and one female quota places, and the Youth Olympic Games, where it has one spot.
Candidates should be experienced enough to manage and train a squad of approximately 25 archers selected from the armed forces and police.
The successful applicant will have good strategic awareness and understanding of the responsibility, and be expected to improve the competitive results of the team.
The new coach will be contracted for six months, with a further six-month extension possible.
The Sri Lanka Archery Association is accepting applications immediately and the vacancy will remain open until the position is filled. Applications should be directed to the Sri Lankan Archery Association.
