Vacancy: Bhutan advertising national archery coach position

The Bhutanese Archery Federation has advertised for a professional national archery coach to work with top recurve archers in the men’s and women’s teams in preparation for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games starting July 2018, with a closing date for applications on 31 January 2018.

The successful applicant will create training plans and coach Bhutan's national team to international archery success, and develop programmes to maximise performances.

Applicants should speak English, have an academic training level according to the World Archery Coaching Programme and proved skills in developing and training national teams or elite archers – preferably recurve.

Responsibilities of the role also include offering technical advice to the federation, as well as liaising with coaches in preparation of training programmes and archery technique.

The successful applicant will also advise the domestic archery committee on improving competition structures and establishing major events in Bhutan.
