Judges' Training Aids
World Archery Judges' Training Aids, prepared by the World Archery Judges' Committee, are being released for general use. They consist of several PowerPoint presentations: Judges' Philosophy Judges' Duties Venue Layout Safety in Archery Equipment Inspection Position of Judges Match Play Individual Match Play Team Arrow close to the Line Arrow closest to the Centre Indoor Scoring
These presentations have been used by the World Archery Judges' Committee in the various training seminars over recent times. These documents may form the basis for national judge training seminars, and it is assumed that they will be used by International Judges, who are engaged in national training.
The presentation documents should be read and used in conjunction with the Judges' Guide book.
Hopefully these documents will serve to add more consistency in the way we archery is judged, internationally.
