The Korean team for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Archery’s leading competitive nation has named its team for the upcoming Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Korea will send recurve men Kim Woojin, Oh Jin Hyek and Kim Je Deok and recurve women Kang Chae Young, Jang Minhee and An San to Japan in three months to follow up on the team’s historic sweep of the gold medals five years ago in Rio de Janeiro.

London 2012 Olympic Champion Oh Jin Hyek delayed his retirement when the Games were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kim Woojin shot in Rio, setting an Olympic record for the ranking round and becoming the first recurve archer to hit 700 points in qualification.

The four other archers will be making their debuts at the Games.
