Final ranking certificates issued for 2021 Indoor Archery World Series
Archers who participated in the 2021 Indoor Archery World Series, either during one or more of the remote stages or at any of the live tournaments, should have now received an email containing a certificate with their final position in the open ranking.
The certificates are also available to download via OpenWAREOS.
More than 7200 people from 100-plus countries took part in this year’s innovative series, which ran from November 2020 to February 2021. A total of 13,558 individual results were checked and verified by competition control and the remote results team.
Every archer who ratified at least one score was ranked.
The largest category was recurve men, with 1961 archers in the open ranking list at the end of the season. Barebow archers were included for the first time and 1244 made the final ranking list.
The indoor circuit culminated with a remote finals event for the team competition, which saw a USA recurve squad representing Lancaster Archery Supply and a French compound trio wearing Arc Système colours take the circuit’s team titles.
The Indoor Archery World Series is expected to return in November 2021. The format has not yet been decided.
