Nimes Archery Tournament delayed by two weeks in late January 2021

Following the French government’s decision to extend pandemic-related restrictions on sports and events, the upcoming Sud de France – Nimes Archery Tournament has been postponed by two weeks, from 15-17 January to 29-31 January 2021.

More information on the delay is expected imminently from the organisers.

This does mean that the event in Nimes is now taken out of sync with the online stages of the 2021 Indoor Archery World Series. It was previously scheduled to coincide with the third remote competition.

Instead, the Nimes Tournament will now count as a bonus stage for the open and team rankings.

The scores of archers who participate in the competition will be automatically submitted to the series however there will be no corresponding online event held on the new weekend.

The third stage of the Indoor Archery World Series will remain as initially scheduled for 15-17 January 2021. It is expected that a live event will be held at the World Archery Excellence Centre in Lausanne, Switzerland on the same weekend.

A new version of the series rules has now been published.
