Reports suggest that Ukrainian coach Viktor Mykhaylenko has died.
The 66-year-old started archery in 1968, joined his national team in 1974 and was active as a coach and sports administrator both nationally and domestically. He was a resident coach at SS Dinamo and webmaster for the Lviv Archery Federation.
Viktor was also passionate about Lviv’s role in the history of World Archery. The international federation was founded there in 1931.
He previously coached in Cyprus.
