Bidding open for Hyundai Archery World Cup Final hosting rights through 2023
Potential hosts are invited to bid for hosting rights to the Hyundai Archery World Cup Final in 2020, 2021, 2022 or 2023.
The Hyundai Archery World Cup Final is the last event on the archery’s annual international competition circuit. Only the best 32 athletes compete each year and the event showcases the best of the sport in often dramatic, iconic locations.
Previous editions of the Hyundai Archery World Cup Final have been held next to the Eiffel Tower in Paris, in Mexico City’s central Zocalo square and, most recently, next to Luzhniki stadium in Moscow.
Sports infrastructure requirements for the event are limited and it receives strong international broadcast coverage. Archery is easily understandable for in-venue spectators and there is significant opportunity for complementary activation.
Local sponsors that do not conflict with World Archery’s global partners are encouraged.
The Hyundai Archery World Cup Finals in 2021 and 2023 can also be combined with World Archery Congress, which attracts 200 to 300 delegates every two years. Congress requires business conference facilities.
There is no deadline for bidding for the Hyundai Archery World Cup Final as each application is assessed upon submission.
World Archery is also currently accepting bids for the 2021 and 2023 World Archery Youth Championships. The most recent youth championships were held in Madrid earlier this summer.

Bids for World Archery events are accepted from member associations, cities and companies.
