Former international judge Jocelyn Acop dies aged 61
Jocelyn Guerrero Acop, a former World Archery international judge from the Philippines, passed away on 21 May 2018, just two days before her 62nd birthday, after a battle against cancer.
She served as a technical official at the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004, at the 2005 South East Asian Games in Manila, and later at the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games.
“Jocelyn was one of our best international judges of the decade, she was reliable and will be well remembered,” said World Archery Judges Committee chair Sergio Font.
An international judge since 1999, she was also an archer.
World Archery, on behalf of the wider World Archery family, offers its condolences to her family and friends, and the archery community in the Philippines.
