World Games 2017 field archery quotas announced

The Dublin 2016 World Archery Field Championships acted as the main quota tournament for the field archery competition at the Wroclaw 2017 World Games, which is open to barebow and recurve athletes.

(The compound competition is held over 50 metres since Cali 2013.)

As host country, Poland received a place in each of the categories – while the winners of the four categories in Dublin also locked down a place.

The remaining 10 places in each category (12 compete at the World Games) were distributed to the nations with the highest ranked archers at the competition in Dublin, up to a maximum of one per country, except for Poland and the nationality of the world champion, which could secure a second spot.
