Announcement: Sanctions issued in two doping cases

Canada’s Jay Lyon and Oscar Ticas of El Salvador have been issued with suspensions following independent Anti-Doping Panel hearings in Lausanne. Both the athletes concerned and their respective national federations have been informed.
- Jay Lyon was found to have committed an anti-doping rule violation pursuant to Article 36.2.1 of the Anti-Doping Rules of World Archery and has been sanctioned with a period of ineligibility of two years, commencing 19 May 2016.
- Oscar Ticas was found to have committed an anti-doping rule violation pursuant to Article 36.10.2 of the Anti-Doping Rules of World Archery and has been sanctioned with a period of ineligibility of one year, commencing 12 May 2016.
The decisions may be appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport within 21 days of receipt of the reasoned decision which is attached to this article.
