Marcus D’Almeida is an international archer from Brazil who shoots with a recurve bow. He is the first Brazilian archer to compete at an Olympic Games as well as being a Hyundai Archery World Cup Final Champion.

Marcus made history in 2016 by becoming the first Brazilian to compete at the Olympic Games which took place in Rio de Janeiro. He has since competed at Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024.

He made more history in 2021, becoming Brazil’s first ever World Archery Championship medallist when he claimed individual silver in the USA. He went on to claim the individual bronze medal at the 2023 World Archery Championships in Germany and remains his country’s only archery world medallist.

Marcus claimed the 2022 Pan American Championships title going on the following year to clinch the Hyundai Archery World Cup Final title in Mexico, making him his country’s most decorated archer.
