World Archery Oceania elects new president and treasurer
A member of World Archery technical committee and an international judge, Susanne Womersley from Australia was elected to the position of president of World Archery Oceania.
Susanne's vision is that in each member association on the continent archery is an important recreational and competitive sport that caters for all levels of ablity, and that the continental association is an active participant on the World Archery stage in all aspects of the sport.
“I will endeavour to the best of my ability to lead an active executive committee, and work with our member associations to provide archers and national associations with the best possible conditions to practise the sport,” she said.
Since this has to be a joint venture, the new appointed president encourages all member associations to play an active part by collaborating within their own countries and working efficiently with World Archery Oceania.
“Let's Move Forward Together!” is the new president's proposed slogan.
Also vacant on the World Archery Oceania executive board, the position of treasurer is now held by Monika Elder from Fiji.
