Jeon Hunyoung is an international archer from Korea who shoots with a recurve bow. She was part of the surprise ‘rookie’ team selected by her country to compete at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games where she won team gold.
Her senior international career was hampered by the Covid-19 pandemic, but she made a strong comeback in 2024 winning Hyundai Archery World Cup individual silver at the Yecheon stage.
Making her debut at the Paris 2024 Olympics, Jeon, alongside Lim Sihyeon and Nam Suhyeon, formed a formidable Korean team. They set an Olympic record in the ranking round and ultimately clinched an historic tenth consecutive Olympic team title for the country.
