Negative PCR tests required at streamlined Sud de France – Nimes Archery Tournament

Health protocols for the Sud de France - Nimes Archery Tournament, which is scheduled to take place on 29-31 January 2021, have been approved by local authorities and this has resulted in some changes to the event.

Only the four primary categories – recurve men, recurve women, compound men and compound women – will now compete, with a maximum of 64 archers in each.

Every participant, as well as organisation staff, officials and other persons on site, will be required to present a negative PCR test for COVID-19 taken within 72 hours or a certificate of vaccination at check-in.

The number of archers shooting at any one time will be heavily restricted, with two metres provided for each athlete on the shooting line, and masks will be required at all other times.

This year’s Sud de France – Nimes Archery Tournament will act as a bonus stage for the remote Indoor Archery World Series.

Anybody who entered the competition in a category that is no longer taking place will receive a refund (if registration was completed with a credit card) or should contact the organiser for further details.
