For the position of President one candidature has been received, which is the current President Prof Dr Ugur ERDENER, who is presented by Turkey and 13 other countries.
For Vice-President three candidatures have been received for three positions. Due to the fact that at the last Congress, the position of Vice-President was not elected, one of the three positions will be for a two year term. The candidatures include the two current Vice-Presidents, Mr Philippe BOUCLET (FRA) and Mr Sanguan KOSAVINTA (THA). The third candidate is Mrs Maria Emma GAVIRIA from Colombia.
The most contested election will be for sure for the Executive Board where eight candidates will try to obtain the three positions available. However, this list could be reduced to six following the elections of the Vice-Presidents. Candidates are in alphabetical order: Mr Philippe BOUCLET (FRA), Mr Greg EASTON (USA), Mr Vladimir ESHEEV (RUS), Mr Vittorio FRANGILLI (CIV), Mr Aladin GABR (EGY), Mrs Maria-Emma GAVIRIA (COL), Mrs Hilda GIBSON (GBR) and Mrs Susanne WOMERSLEY (AUS).
Other elections will take place for the Technical Committee, Target Archery Committee, Medical and Sport Sciences Committee and the Para-Archery Committee

Under the Constitution further candidatures can still be received up until 6 September, but these candidatures will not be distributed to the voting delegates before the start of the Congress.
We ask our Member Associations to inform us before 9 July if for any reason a candidature they have submitted (before 29 June) is not listed on the full list available on our webpage and to send proof of such submission. Any candidature received after 29 June will be included in the documents distributed to the Congress delegates.
As was the case for the 2011 Congress all documents will only be made available in electronic format.
